What We Are Loving Right Now.Ruffle Bottom Pants

All Three Styles Are Available For Purchase On Our Facebook Page

Fall is coming, which means our little fashion plates will be replacing those ruffled skirts with a pair of pants. However, that doesn't mean that they can't step into fall in style! We love the idea of adding some print to your fall wardrobe, so why not add a little ruffle as well?

Happy Customers!

Katelyn invited us along for her 8th birthday!

She wore a custom made birthday top with her name on it, and even her friends wore matching birthday shirts as well!
We think the birthday party looked adorable!
Thanks for bringing us along for the festivities!

Having A Whale of A Time

We happen to love whales and think they can be such an adorable statement for your little ones, so we decided to create our very own Whale Collection For Bella's. Our first look, and the inspiration behind this collection, was conceived when we created this whale ribbon dress for our spring line!

However, now we have created a small line dedicated to our favorite animal, and hope you love it as much as we do...

Each soft piece from our latest collection is monogrammable and features an adorable hand embroidered whale patch. The boy's pieces are created in a light blue color palette with a royal blue whale patch in polka dot print, and the girl's sets are designed with a light pink color scheme.

Stella McCartney Launches A Little Miss Stella Collection

One of our favorite designers is launching a new children's clothing line and a book inspired by it at the same time!

This collection, which is comprised of tees, jumpers, and denim (to name a few) will appeal to children from the ages of newborn all the way to 14 years old. The collection will also be featured in a 32 page book that not only showcases the clothing, but also features the character "Little Miss Nobody" who is looking for a way to get noticed. The character's problems are solved when she is introduced to the designer's clothes and is fashionably transformed into "Somebody". Both the fashionable clothing line and adorable book will be in stores next month!

Little Fashionistas

Images Via Bing

We get so much inspiration from street style blogs that include children in their weekly round up. Although we want our little ones to keep some sense of innocence, they can always wear those chic basics that are just like their fashionable mom's...

We love the tutu and pea-coat combination, the printed frock, and the khaki trench that these little fashionistas are wearing so much that we had to share!

We Love The Giudice Girls

We have quite a few style muses here at Bella's, but Teresa Giudice is the originator when it comes to putting the "F" in fabulous in children's clothing. She has been dressing her girls in those coveted tutus and oversized hair bows long before the staples became a mainstay in any mini-me's wardrobe.

We love the Giudice girl's style so much that we just couldn't pick one as our style muse this week, so instead we are dedicating and entire post to Gia, Milania, Gabriella, and Audriana and all of their adorableness...

Or as Theresa would say, fabulousness.

What We Are Loving Right Now. Mixing Prints

We are always looking for ways to help dress that little fashionista who wants to wear everything her fashionable mom does, and mixing prints is such a big statement at the moment. The key to making the mix of prints look so effortless and chic is to pair two very contrasting prints that are close in color range and saturation.
We simply love this statement, so we created this amazing little frock for your little girl that mixes a beautiful summer paisley print with a classic leopard pattern...

The result is an adorable little number that is sure to turn heads and make your little fashion plate stand out.

Easter Craft Projects To Do With Your Kids

Just Ducky Tennis Ball Chick

1. To hatch your own duckling decoration, first use tacky glue to glue together two 4-inch squares of orange craft foam.
2. When the glue is dry, cut out a 1-piece set of webbed feet, then glue a tennis ball to the feet.
3. Next, glue 2 googly eyes and 2 duck bill shapes cut from more orange craft foam to a 2-inch yellow pom-pom, then glue the pom-pom to the tennis ball.
4.  For wings and a tail, glue yellow and orange craft feathers to the sides and back of the duck.
5. Finally, dot nostrils on the top of the bill with a permanent marker.

Dye-ving Dudes Easter Eggs

Materials
  • Egg dye
  • White eggs, hard-boiled
  • Permanent marker
  • 3/4-inch round white adhesive labels
  • 1-inch-wide water-bottle lids
  • Small rubber bands
  • White glue or glue gun
  • Flexible straws
  • Self-adhesive foam
  • Small clear glasses or bowls (optional)
  • Small pitcher (optional)

Instructions
  1. For each snorkeler, dye the bottom third of an egg, then let it dry.
  2. Draw eyes on a label and adhere it to a water-bottle lid. Slip the rubber band around the egg, about a quarter of the way down. Glue the lid over a rubber band.
  3. Trim a straw 1 inch above and 2 inches below the flexible section. Bend it into a snorkel shape and glue it in place.
  4. null Cut foam flippers (trace our template ). Glue them to the egg, adhesive side down, and let dry. Stick the adhesive side to the display surface, or, if you like, to the inside of a small glass or bowl. With the pitcher, gently pour in dye until the egg is partly submerged.

Edible Easter Basket Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 dozen cupcakes
  • 1 bag jelly beans
  • 2 cups white icing
  • Sweetened coconut, colored with green food coloring
Instructions
  1. First, frost the cupcakes with white icing. Bend a pipe cleaner or a piece of red licorice into an arch and push the ends into the sides of each cupcake.
  2. Shake the shredded coconut in a stainless steel bowl. Sprinkle on food coloring bit by bit, mixing vigorously to distribute the color
  3. Place a pinch of shredded coconut on each iced cupcake. Now place three jelly beans on the "nest" of coconut.
  4. Tie a small ribbon bow on the pipe cleaner or licorice handle at a jaunty angle.
  5. Put one cupcake basket by each place setting at Easter brunch or give them as gifts.
